About Our Company
Daniel M. Kelly founded Eagle Construction Company of South Florida, Inc., in 1985, with a vision to leverage his skill and integrity in sales and marketing into the high growth industry of construction and development. The company was renamed Eagle Home Builders in 2019. Throughout its history, Eagle has identified often overlooked areas of business within the construction industry.
In Southwest Florida, Eagle was one of the first homebuilders to market and customize homes for investors in the non-retiree market. Recognizing the availability of thousands of vacant and buildable lots, a national marketing campaign was instituted to tap this tremendous source. As a result, Eagle developed a customer base that reached into the thousands and stretched across the United States and Canada. Going a step further, Eagle also provided on-site management for the absentee owners as well as future re-sales.

From 1985-1992
Eagle developed and marketed more than $70 million in residential housing in Southwest Florida. In 1992, Eagle expanded to the East Coast of Florida to help in the reconstruction of hundreds of homes that were destroyed by Hurricane Andrew. Eagle created its own niche into the production home industry by offering tremendous diversity in several areas of the construction field. The work included areas as diverse as shell construction and debris removal, as well as storm shutter installation and roofing. While developing vast experience in many areas, Eagle continued to develop its reputation for high quality work and dependability that served it well in establishing excellent relationships within the construction industry.
From 1992-2001
Eagle continued to work in numerous phases of the construction industry for such names as Lennar Homes, Toll Brothers, Centex Homes, WCI Communities, Transeastern Homes, and US Homes, to names a few.
From 2002-2008
Kelly was a Principal in Gulfstream Development Group, LLC, from 2002-2010. One of the largest builders in Southwest Florida, Kelly was responsible for running nearly $700 million in construction jobs through Gulfstream. All aspects of land acquisition, development and construction were handled through this company.
Since 2009
Kelly began acquiring hundreds of lots throughout Southwest Florida after the real estate crash of 2008. Currently the Licensed Contractor for Pinnacle Building Solutions and Eagle Home Builders, Kelly re-entered the building industry in 2010 as the market showed continued signs of recovery. The vast land positions acquired by Kelly or Eagle provided the sister companies of Pinnacle and Eagle with a solid foundation for future growth and market share in Southwest Florida as the South Florida market expanded exponentially after 2010. Pinnacle or Eagle has become one of the premier builders in Lee County and is expanding into Collier and Charlotte County as well. Kelly is also the Broker of Record for Horizon Realty & Development Group, a real estate and property management company located in Cape Coral, Florida.
